Mt Hood offers an entire book of trails to explore. To list them
all would just take forever. So here are the pictures and adventures
as we explore them separately.

Mirror Lake
We were looking for a great fall hike to enjoy the wonderful displays
of color. The trail begins by crossing a log bridge at the top of Yacum
Falls. After crossing another foot bridge, the path meanders through
the woods for awhile, then begins a series of switchbacks up to the
lake.
Mirror Lake sits at an elevation of 4050 ft. The lake's outlet faces
north, forming a "V" notch perfectly framing Mt Hood.

In the winter time, we often enjoy heading out on the cross country
ski trails to enjoy some skiing or snowshoeing.
