How to download pics using Windows XP Picture Wizard

1. This is the screen that should open up after you have plugged in your camera and turned the camera on:
2. Select "copy pictures to folder on my computer" and click OK

2. Click "Next"

3. In this screen you can select which pictures you will be downloading to your computer. Make your selection and click Next

4. (1) Type in a very short description; (2) browse to which directory you want your pictures saved to; (3) select "Delete pictures..." so the wizard will clear you memory card for more pictures; (4) click Next

5. The Wizard will show the progress of copy the pictures and then deleting them.

6. Once the process is complete, this screen will appear. Typically, I select "Nothing..." and then click Next

7. Now you have the opportunity to view all your pictures. I typically select view as slide show. This is also the area where I will deleted those pictures that didn't turn out.
