How To Set Up Outlook Express Email Account

This tutorial uses Outlook Express.

1. From the top menu bar; select Tools, Accounts

2. Select Mail; then Add Mail

3. Type in the name you would like to give this account; then "next"

4. Type in the email address; then "next"

5. Type in the incoming and outgoing mail servers; then "next"

6. Type in the account name and then password; select remember password; then "next"

7. Congratulations, you've completed step 1.
click "finish"

8. click the new account to highlight; select Properties from the right side of your screen

9. from the Servers tab; click "My Server Requires Authentication" from the Outgoing Mail Server selection
Click "Settings"

10. Select "Log on using" and complete your username and passwork;
Click "OK"

11. Your set up is complete; be sure to send a test email to double check that the settings
have been added correctly.
