How to Publish a Webpage from MS Publisher

This tutorial is written for those using Windows XP/MS Office 2003

1. create your webpage using publisher

2. when complete, save your webpage

3. after saving; select File, Publish to the Web

4. you will receive a message reminding you that you need to have an existing webhost in order to publish files

5. Select FTP Locations from the Save In option at the top of your window;

6. To set up new FTP location, double-click on the Add/Modify FTP locations

7. type in your FTP site name,
select User and type in your username provided to you
type in the password provided to you; click ADD

8. now select the new FTP location your just set up

9. double click on the ftp location

10. change the file name accordingly and click SAVE

11. if over-writing a file, you will receive the following message. Click YES

12. another warning message; Click OK

13. your page will now publish to the desired location.

14. to view the page on the internet,
Type in your ftp name: http://www.forsale.yournewnwhome.com/**page name**
